Silver Pomfret Curry

This fish is also called thella sanduva in telugu ,which is very tasty n goes with rice n rasam combo, which is perfect dish on weekends.
Ingredients
Oil-4tblsp
Fish-2lbs
Onion-2 medium(1 for chopping, other for onion paste)
Turmeric-1tsp
Salt-as req
Red chilli powder-1tblsp
Garam Masala Powder-1 1/2tblsp
Ginger garlic paste-2tblsp
Poppy Seeds paste-1tblsp
Green chillies-6
Curry leaves-1string
Coriander leaves-for garnish
Preparation
Wash fish n marinate fish with salt n red chilli powder. Slit green chillies, chop one onions and blend other onion to make paste and keep a side.
Method
Heat oil in a wide pan add chopped onions, green chillies n saute until onions are translusent ,then add turmeric onion paste, ginger garlic paste, poppy seeds paste n saute until oil oozes out, then add curry leaves, marinated fish, garam masala powder mix well n cover with lid for few minutes later add water n again cover the lid n let it cook until oil oozes out from curry n let water evaporate completely from fish. Garnish with coriander leaves.Serve this yummy fish curry with combo of rice n rasam.
Note: Do not mix fish too much it may break.
